Sahara’s Mutual Fund Distribution House announces expansion of its network

Sahara India Pariwar is headed by Mr. Subrata Roy Sahara who is the Managing Worker and Chairman. The Group claims that the Sahara India Pariwar has an all India presence. Sahara India Financial Corporation Limited is the investment arm of the Subrata Roy’s Sahara India Group. Capital Market Services Division is a unit of Sahara India Financial Corporation Limited. It deals in the distribution of Mutual Funds schemes. It has announced its expansion plan. Under the plan, Capital Market Services Division will strengthen its distribution network nationwide by increasing its branch network from 37 to 75 branches by December, 2007 December and 150 branches by next year. The expansion is aimed to provide various financial services beside distribution of Mutual Funds schemes. Sahara group hopes that with this they will be able to provide complete range of financial solutions to their investors. Sahara Mutual Fund presently governs six equity funds namely Sahara Mid Cap Fund, Sahara Growth Fund, Sahara Tax Gain Fund, Sahara Wealth Plus Fund, Sahara R.E.A.L. and Sahara Infrastructure Fund. These Funds have performed extremely sound.
