Sahara India Pariwar has initially invested $100 million and is holding 63% of the joint venture while the rest is held by Turner and Acropolis. On the other hand, Turner Company has spent around $ 1 million in setting up the partnership.

Acropolis has been associated in as a private equity partner for the Sahara Tuner Construction Limited. According to Subrata Roy Sahara, turner, which was the project manager for the popular Burj khalifa building in Dubai, will provide its proficiency in the construction field.

Moreover, Sahara Tuner Construction Limited will not limit itself to the Sahara projects but will also pursue third party building and construction projects. Under this programme, 445 meritorious students of Pune district of low income group were provided with scholarship. In which 330 students got scholarship at graduation level and 145 students at post graduation level. The graduation level students will be provided with Rs. 750 per month as a scholarship amount, on the other hand post graduation students will be provided with Rs. 1500 per month.

The Karmabhoomi Kartavyapoorti Yojana was announced by Subrata Roy Sahara, founder and Chairman of Sahara India Pariwar on the occasion of Jyoti Diwas on 1 April 2011. The residents of Lucknow are only eligible to get financial assistance under this scheme if the deceased was an adult under the purview of Lucknow Nagar Nigam as per the electoral list. The heir of the deceased has to inform Sahara India Pariwar by submitting an application on a plain paper along with some essential documents like postmortem report, FIR and Death Certificate etc.
