Sahara India Pariwar provides financial assistance to residents of Pune through Social Security Cover Scheme

Sahara India Pariwar is one of the renowned business conglomerates of India that has versatile business interests like Life insurance, mutual funds, housing finance, infrastructure and housing, media and entertainment, consumer products, information technology and more. The Social Security Cover Scheme which is Social welfare Programme of Sahara India Pariwar has been involve in social welfare from quite long time. Under the social security cover scheme, Sahara India Pariwar provides the accidental death cover to the 17.07 lakh voters of Pune Lok SabhaConstituency. Social security Cover Scheme is one of the four welfare schemes for the residents of Pune which were announced by Subrata Roy Sahara, founder and Chairman of Sahara India Pariwar.
Under this scheme, in the occurrence of accidental death of any of Pune’s residents, his or her heir is provided with Rupees one lakh as financial assistance by Sahara India Pariwar. Recently sahara India Pariwar provided financial assistance worth Rupees one lakh to Mrs. Nalini Sunil Jadhav. The residents of Pune are only eligible to get financial assistance under this scheme if the deceased was a voter of Pune lok Sabha constituency. The heir of the deceased need to inform Sahara India Pariwar by submitting an application on a plain paper within the 45 days of the occurrence of accidental death to any of the local office of Sahara. Along with applications, the heir needs to present other essential documents such as FIR, Death Certificate and Post-mortem resort etc. All these other documents can be presented later.
Along with Pune, Sahara India Pariwar is providing financial assistance to the family o deceased in occurrence of an accidental death for the residents of Lucknow and Gorakpur. According to Subrata Roy Sahara it is a small gesture by Sahara India Pariwar to extend emotional support through financial assistance to the family of the deceased.
Under its other three welfare schemes for the residents of Pune, Sahara India Pariwar is running 9 Mobile Healthcare unit Vans and offering public health services to 72 villages of 6 blocks and urban slums of Pune District. You would be surprised to know that of each of the MHU Vans of Sahara India Pariwar has a qualified doctor and is well equipped with basic health equipments.
